In the New Testament we meet many unique and special women. In the Old Testament most of the women we saw were viewed only in their relationship to the men in their lives or they were somebody’s mother. A few stood out as unique like Achsah, the daughter of Caleb who showed astuteness by asking her father for springs of water as well as land, or Deborah who was a Judge in Israel. About the Author
L. J. Broderick is a retired biblical counselor who lives with her husband of thirty-five years in Oklahoma City. She is mother of two surviving adult children. Jesus took her middle son home in 2012 at the age of thirty. She has also served in AIDS ministry; she currently teaches the Bible and mentors women.
