"THE GREATNESS OF GOD"
"Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, Thou art very great; Thou art clothed with honor and majesty" (Psalm 104:1).
Many of us have not stopped to consider the greatness of God. Just think of where we would be without Him. He gives us His loving care and attention and He thinks about us every day; not just humans, but everything that He made. In Genesis He said everything He made was good.
Psalm 104 shows God's wisdom and creative work. It is a praise for God's great creation; of the heavens, the earth, waters and life. We should praise God for His creation and realize that all of life depends upon God. He is a great God!
His judgments are unsearchable and none of us can know or understand His ways. There are riches in His wisdom and knowledge.
His name is glorious. He is exalted above all possible blessings and praise from men. He alone is Jehovah. He made everything "The earth is the Lord's and it's fullness (Psalm 24:1) and everything belongs to Him. The Lord God is the owner of the whole creation. We enjoy this earth with all its wealth, fertility and all that is in it by His permission. He is righteous, He heals, delivers and keeps all of His promises. He is gracious, merciful, capable, able and always ready to forgive us. He is slow to anger and of great kindness. He has never forsaken His people. He has always done right and He is great in goodness, clothed in majesty and worthy to be praised. Our God is great!

About the Book
Early in His Presence is a devotional book designed to encourage Christians and non-Christians to devote at least two hours and forty minutes a day for reading the Bible and prayer for spiritual growth and maturity. The time mentioned was derived from the twenty-four hours a day that God gives to each of us. It’s like the tithing principle: 10 percent of all your income to be given to the Lord. If God gives us twenty-four hours a day, giving Him 10 percent of our time is two hours and forty minutes a day. Don’t try to do it all at once, but gradually grow into it a little at a time until you can do it. Keep track of the time you spend with the Lord, even if it’s only fifteen minutes. Gradually keep adding on to it until you have accomplished your goal.
These devotionals should encourage you to desire a closer walk with the Lord and to develop a closer personal relationship with Him. Before you begin your quiet time in His presence, pray and ask God to open your heart and mind to receive what He has for you each day. I am confident you will be inspired, revived, recharged, and blessed as you spend time Early In His Presence.
