"An effective worship service that flows, amuses, enlightens, inspires and motivates people to move toward God requires much planning. We must be guided in the whole process by the Holy Spirit, then submit our plans and the outcome to God, Who is in control. Be willing to make changes and adjustments as the Spirit leads.
Leaders are facilitators in the congregation's worship journey; they can make or break a service by not paying close attention to details. Once the physical, environmental and emotional obstacles are removed, the congregation can more easily flow into worship. Again, the ultimate goal in our services is to facilitate a One-on-one encounter between the participant and God."

About the Book
Great musicians and worship leaders are in high demand in the church today, but to be effective, they must first have the necessary tools, including theological, musical, and technical training. Worship Foundry is a self-contained mentorship program in book form, to help train and equip worshipers and leaders alike. Worship Foundry is not a factory, but rather a course through which worship leaders, ministers, and musicians of all ages can be shaped, formed by the hand of God, purified with fire, and made into vessels for the Holy Spirit to use in a world that sorely needs Jesus.
About the Author
Jamie Harvill grew up in Fullerton, California. He’s a prolific songwriter with credits such as “Ancient of Days,” “Firm Foundation,” “Because We Believe,” and “Garments of Praise” (Revival in Belfast). He’s also an accomplished guitarist and worship leader. Jamie has taught about worship and songwriting in churches and conferences all over the globe. He lives with his wife, Brenda, just south of Nashville in Spring Hill, Tennessee.
