Today, looking at this beautiful masterpiece, I realized my Robin needed all the stages he went through, even the disappointments, to enable him to meet his goal. In reflecting on my Robin, I realized, God enabled him, to reach his goal. He was given strength and determination to persevere.
Isaiah 41:10
Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. [NKJV]
I realized through watching my Robin that God enables us, through His Word, which is our sure foundation, and through the Holy Spirit in our lives, to be prepared for difficult challenges we may face. God gives us everything we need, emotionally and spiritually to become stronger in our faith, and understanding of God’s love. We, like the Robin, can stand back and say “Thank You, Lord,” for the many lessons I’ve learned.
My Robin learned all the skills of building his nest, so next time it will be so much easier. I think about my Christian walk, and how the first time of calling a friend to come to church with me, or the first time of taking a cake to someone who was ill felt awkward, and now so comfortable. I remember reading passages from the Bible, and not being able to understand, but now reading the same passage and learning so much.

As I watched the mother and father robin care for their chicks, I was amazed at how their actions illustrated God’s love to me.
God’s love is unending.
His love never fails.
God’s love is unselfish.
His love is for everyone.
God’s love is unconditional.
It is a free gift and not dependent on what we do.
You may have a situation in your life—job loss, teenage rebellion, marriage unrest, parents who are ill or aging, single parenthood, or medical concerns that fill your life with dread. God could be using your situation to draw you closer to understanding His love.
