“Ah, I see you are getting restless. You have been speaking of the condition of life that is happening on earth right now. Though you have not been there before, it makes me think that you would like to go there now.” “Yes,” the soul said softly. “There is trouble there. I may, though perhaps in some small way, ease this trouble.” The souls that were speaking were Esse and Eimi. Esse had been pondering the souls on earth and had begun to feel that many of the souls there were troubled.

Sheila Thomas has been a spiritual seeker all her life. She sought guidance in religious communities, with a spiritual director, on retreats, engaging in spiritual disciplines, and in being inspired by others in her life. This story is a distillation of what she has come to know.
