About the Book
Americans don't know how to eat. Looking at their overall state of health, it would seem they don't know what to eat. Somehow, we've been duped into believing that there is little difference between the apple you buy at the store and a candied apple you get at an amusement park. Have we even considered what God has to say about out food intake—both physically and spiritually? Jesus came to give us life—abundant life. Are we making choices that lead to that life in all its fullness, or are we going to settle for some kind of run-of-the-mill existence? Let's stop blaming others and take charge of our health!
About the Author
I have been interested in and have studied diet, nutrition, and health-related matters for over thirty years. Also, my normal "hang out" is the vitamin section of health food stores, constantly asking questions and keeping up to date on the latest health trends.
I am very familiar with the way Americans eat: the S.A.D. diet (Standard American Diet), which has practically nothing to do with achieving vibrant health. The Deceiver has forced us to swallow an awful lie, and we must face that fact and repent—just like we would repent of any wrong—before it's too late.
I live in Garden Grove, CA, in a small section of town known as “Little Saigon.” I stay at a retirement center where I am the resident president of over one-hundred residents.
My hobby is reading. I think I need a new hobby.
