Heart and Acts of Life

[1] The divinity Conference:

This conference was held solely to protect the interest and eternal purpose of God.

After careful but mournful deliberation the conference came out with the following resolution:

“And the Lord God said, behold the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat, and live forever: therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden…so he drove out the man: …” [Holy Bible, Genesis 3: 22-24]

(a) Restriction: Whereas there was the possibility for the man not to experience death by suffering and ageing, the Divine trinity post war conference agreed and announced an embargo on that divine benefit as the consequence for the rebellion. Therefore man was sent from the reach of the tree of Life in the garden to suffer until he is worn out and finally dies the natural death for choosing to listen and obey the devil rather than God both in their heart and in their act.

(b) Grace: But that did not mean that God was through with man, or had conceded victory to the devil. On the contrary, before the restriction which its self was a means to bring to an end the misery inherent with sin, God had flung open wide the gate of grace, and had set in motion the process of the redemption of the fallen man who He came in search of, and had covered with the skin of the lamb slain before the foundation of the world for the atonement of the sin of not only Adam, but mankind. Again, even in that state of loss and temporal defeat, God announced the coming of the ultimate champion of the salvation of mankind (Genesis 3:8, 9, 15, 21, 22-23).

The highlight of that post Eden battle conference turned out to be the release of Grace: Gods initiative to redeem mankind, and defeat the devil ultimately.

[2]The Satanic Conference:

On the other side of the divide was another post war conference called by Satan to count his gains and consolidate his victory.

Satan set the ball rolling by announcing: ‘As you can all see, I have proved again beyond doubt to be the preferred leader, I did it in the battle of the gods and won numerous Angels to my side, and now I have the total percentage of the creature called man on my side’ With this boast and declaration, it was all ‘Bravo! Bravo!! Bravo!!!’ But just as the praise gathered momentum, it was interrupted to introduce what was considered a very serious agenda for debate.

‘We are gathered here today not only to celebrate our victory but also to find a strategy to perpetuate, enforce, and make sure it outlives Adam and Eve who are the main victims for now and to make sure we do not lose what we have gained already… (The speaker informed the audience) …Let us look beyond them for they will soon die for believing me when I said they would not die…Fools! (and every demon in the conference hall re-echoed it]…Yes they are fools... (Continued the speaker) but they are not finished yet; they still have something we dread so much. (At this point all the other participants looked at each other and wondered what that might be)

The Name:

As at this time mankind was still known and addressed as Man. But following the fall, that was about to change to reflect the new position. So the speaker standing on the floor of the house continued his speech. ‘They still have among other things: the name: ‘MAN’, given to them by God himself.

You will recall how we lost our original names when we fell out with God. Remember; I used to be Lucifer: son of the Morning star, but now they call me Satan, Devil, old serpent. O! How I hate them for using those derogatory names on me.

And as for you all, do not forget you were at that time called Angels, son of God. But now they call you: Demons, Evil spirits, fallen angels, etc.

Comrades, it is now our turn for vengeance. Let us agree and corrupt their name too’

Immediately, contributions started pouring in from the floor of the house from one speaker to another on till the spirit of falsehood intervened and said:

“Comrades, the case before us is a simple one… [The rest of the participants hailed him for he was indeed the brain behind the falsehood and subtlety that brought down man in Eden. Consequent upon which he has proved himself to have the solution]… let us picture the condition of Adam now that he has been beaten, dishonoured, disgraced, humiliated…” (Each of the pronouncements was greeted with a laud yell of ‘Yes’!)

The ‘H-U’ Connection:

Here the law or principle of tit for tat, or an eye for an eye was invoked by the speaker.

He said, “Comrades, when we were disgraced and dishonoured our names suffered same fate, and now that man has been humiliated, let his name be dishonoured and changed.

And to this end, I propose that: instead of the exalted man that he used to be, let him now be seen and regarded as the humiliated man to reflect his present true position.’’

This proposal was generally welcomed and applauded but with an observation made by one of them to the effect that it could be difficult to effect this change considering that it is both lengthy and negative in concept.

With this observation, the sponsor of the idea reassured them saying: “Comrade, I have taken your observation into consideration before now, and I want to remind you that we have done this before and therefore need not worry.”

But one of them promptly asked to know, when this was done and how it was done?
