About the Author
Kekelwa Nyaywa was born in Zambia, is a US citizen, and has a master’s degree in social science from Florida State University. Beacon of Light is a personal story of divorce and finding God’s healing power. Feeling called to assist others affected by divorce or separation, she was a facilitator of Divorce Care in Fairfax, Virginia, before moving to New Orleans, Louisiana, in 2012, where she now lives. She is author of the novels Hearthstones (1995); The Plague At My Door (1996); and The Small Bridge (2002). Hearthstones was nominated for 1997 Dublin International (IMPAC) Literary Award.
Apart from Zambia and US, the author has lived in UK, Peru, and Jordan.
