We choose to believe the lies because we don’t know what the truth is and we choose to believe the lies because that’s what we think of ourselves. We always put ourselves down and beat ourselves up about the things that have happened a long time ago or maybe within the last couple of days. No matter when it happened, we have to believe that God truly loves us. We can not wait on others to believe in us. We have to believe in ourselves in order to stay in the race. The enemy has all kinds of tricks up his sleeves to keep us from believing the truth. The enemy is and always will be a liar.
We often put ourselves down because just in case we don’t succeed, we don’t have to be ashamed. It is easier to go with the negative and hope for the positive. Success does not work like that. Success is being positive about everything that you say and do. We do not have to give in to those negative thoughts and feelings because they are not from God. God’s words, His love and His promises are true. If we can’t depend on nothing or no one else, we can always depend on God. He has never let us down and He has always been there, even when we have turned our backs on Him. So, just remember that everything that was told to us that does not line up with God’s word is a LIE.
Remember:
A Lie does not have power; it’s your belief in the lie that gives it power. So, choose to believe in Christ because He has all power in His hand and then choose to believe in yourself because He has given you power to do all things through Him. Nothing is Impossible through Christ!

About the Book
This book points out a few of the things that cause us to speak negatively. It also gives us God’s Word to show us that we can be positive in a negative world. Regardless of the situation or circumstance, God has a plan for us. Speaking positively or speaking negatively is just like simple math. If you speak positively, you will add or gain. If you speak negatively, you will take away and miss out. Positively speaking.
About the Author
Juawanna McGhee grew up in Mer Rouge Louisiana, where she lived most of her life. She and her husband of seventeen years have children and grandchildren. Juawanna presently resides in Georgia, where she has lived for the past thirteen years. She has had some ups and downs, but she has seen the movement of God in her life, and that gave her the strength to keep pressing forward.
It takes a strong person to see the positive in every situation. I cannot say that I was always a positive person. Every bump in the road made me think or say something negative. As of today, I can say that I look at things totally different. I try to speak positively no matter what my situation looks like.
I am thankful that God inspired me to write this book. Writing this book caused me to dig deeper into God’s Word, and His Word ministered to me. As you read this book, I pray that God’s Word ministers to you.
