The Keys to the Kingdom Consciousness are a set of uniquely created synergistic tools of consciousness incorporating spiritual, psychological and life dynamics affecting spirit, soul and body. These Keys were developed over a period of three years in the Chrysalis of Prayer. They affect everyday life and the quality of experiences through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
Ineffective, unproductive and unwanted belief systems were dismantled through the processes set forth within the framework of the Keys. Patterns of behavior were many times altered and sometimes removed during prayer, meditation or contemplation. Physical conditions and/or illnesses were released through the life application of the Keys to the Kingdom Consciousness. Spiritual information and education along with personal and group experience were holistically incorporated in the Keys enhancing God’s integral plans for healing my life.
Through reading and contemplation of the Bible my spirit, soul and body were grounded in the Word of God. The Holy Spirit utilized energetic patterns of sound and light to affect unconscious, subconscious and conscious states of mind. Healing of my will and emotions rapidly progressed, consequently affecting my body.
The spiritual practice of fasting offered unparalleled breakthroughs. Processes of purification, surrender, union and service served to both disintegrate the old and integrate new belief systems, in real time. My encounters with God were engaging my spirit, transforming my soul and renewing my body. A lifestyle of prayer, praise and worship evolved out of interaction with the Holy Spirit through the vehicle of the Keys to the Kingdom. My ever emerging relationship with Christ created an Eternal reality in God.
A spiritual journey through the heart, using the metaphor of the metamorphosis of a caterpillar into a butterfly, now unfolds before you. I pray for the healing of your body, the renewing of your mind, will and emotions and the transformation of your spirit from death to Eternal Life in Christ. Let us travel together on this path of Light and follow the Keys to the Kingdom Consciousness into a conscious awareness of our Oneness with God.

Pure Heart
The first major part of the Keys to the Kingdom Consciousness is called Pure Heart. During this time, I discovered I needed to take action steps to allow the Holy Spirit complete access in every area of my life. This began with making a free will choice to pursue healing through God’s Love and Grace.
My free will had been one of my greatest assets and among my greatest liabilities up to this point. Now it was time to harness this power in order to consciously move forward in a positive direction. The art of consciousness carpentry was just beginning and Jesus was the Master Carpenter of life. Next, I needed to shift from being willful to being willing. Surrender, surrender and more surrender was not optional. It was mandatory. I set my intention to let God be God in my life and established top priority for it. Setting limits and boundaries concerning important issues in my life refined processes and defined results. Making a commitment to the free will choice I had made put the train on the tracks, so to speak. The investment of my time and attention to following through provided fuel for the journey and tied up loose ends.

Pure Heart needed to be developed to become a functional, foundational building block upon which the next major part of the Keys to the Kingdom would be built. My affirmative prayer was, “I will to be the Will of God”, and it needed to become a state of being.
The Holy Spirit began a process of purification by building Bridges of Light in consciousness from one fragmented piece to another within; thus, allowing me to own, accept and allow personality aspects, behaviors and experiences currently in my life. Non-resistance paved the way. The power of prayer held my mind in an observer position while my spirit worked in unison with the Holy Spirit to become aware of patterns of unforgiveness that needed to be revealed, confessed and released. This work of forgiveness and repentance dug deep into my soul. Soon I realized I needed to be willing to go beyond whatever the issue was with no investment in the outcome for the highest good of all or the work of the Holy Spirit would be limited by my self-centered conditions.
By the Power of the Holy Spirit, in the Name of Jesus Christ and for the Glory of God, spiritual characteristics of honesty, respect, responsibility, accountability, integrity, trust and authenticity began to surface as facets of the Diamond of Divinity within.
The expedition had been costly but the discoveries were wondrous. A kaleidoscope of possibilities flashed across my mind in an array of living color. In more ways than one, I had been stretched beyond all previous definition. My heart skipped a beat in anticipation of the excavation ahead and the spiritual treasures waiting beyond.

Open Heart
The second major part of the Keys to the Kingdom Consciousness is called Open Heart. The whole realm of this state of being was totally different than those I had experienced in the past. The depth of the Silence during prayer provided the incubator, which contained the mystery of the creative life force complete with astounding awe and miraculous alchemy. It was metamorphosis in living color.
My affirmative prayer was, “I choose to be the will of God”, and a new state of being unfolded. The Holy Spirit offered me an opportunity to choose to enter more deeply into the process of surrender bidding me, “Come close, come closer than you ever have before”. Upon the altar of consciousness within my heart, I would place the sin, offense, problem, illness, or whatever issues my soul was wrestling with. Jesus Christ was now not only the atoning sacrifice, but also the altar and the high priest. We are the Temple of the Holy Spirit.
Every thought, every word, every preconceived idea in my mind had to be released. My soul would then offer the sacred sacrifices of prayer, thanksgiving and gratitude. Songs of praise rose up from my spirit as incense upon the altar. Worship spilled out into the universe refusing to define the rainbow’s edge.
The mandate from the Holy Spirit was to “Wait”. “Wait here in this state of consciousness for the heavens to open. Wait for the echo of the Spirit to return to you. Wait upon the Sands of Time to fill the Hour Glass with Eternity.” Silence consumed me.

Softly and ever so gently, my spirit would return to my soul and body within time and space. A Circle of Light had been completed within my consciousness. Glancing at the clock, I would notice an hour had passed. More rough edges of the Diamond of Divinity within had been smoothed away, buffed and polished. The spiritual facets of temperance, tolerance, tenacity and perseverance shimmered in the Divine Light of God, in whom there is no darkness. Endurance and longevity sparkled. Humility danced as sunlight upon living waters.

About the Book
OneHeart . . . a passion for prayer was born when the Holy Spirit spoke into my heart disclosing God’s desire for me to write a book about my life. I was to “honor my spiritual journey,” and God would thereby be blessed, magnified, and glorified. This was the desire of His heart. Inherent within his divine desire was both the promise of fulfillment and the provision for manifestation in, through, and as me. It was the divine design.
This opportunity of a lifetime challenged and charged me to reach out to others experiencing their own life challenges, the depths of soul development, and the uniqueness of spiritual transformation, perhaps in some of the ways as I had done.
OneHeart, written in linear fashion, begins with childhood experiences and travels straight through into adulthood, unfolding life with hopes, fears, heartaches, healing, forgiveness, blessings, and joys. My heart’s desire is to be the will of God in expression as the fulfillment of His heart’s desire by divine design.
A spiritual journey through the heart now unfolds before you. I pray for the healing of your body; the renewing of your mind, will, and emotions; and the resurrection of your spirit from death to eternal life in Christ as we travel together on this path of light into a conscious awareness of our oneness with God.

Ramona Lyman has been a Christian spiritual counselor with a passion for prayer since 1990 and was founder of the Light Center in Lenexa, Kansas, for fourteen years. She has two grown children and three grandchildren. Ramona resides in Overland Park, Kansas, and continues to serve the community with her spiritual gifts.
