JESUS CARES FOR YOU –SO MUCH!
June 1
Psalm 54:2 “Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.”
“Hear my prayer, O God.” So easy to say these words. How often do I pray to my God? I ask myself just how long has it been that I really prayed? I mean that earnest prayer of telling God that I am truly sorry for my lack of prayerlessness.
Why can I talk to a friend for over an hour and yet not find enough words to talk to my Heavenly Father for even thirty minutes? Is it because I know you love me so much that you just take care of me? You always come to my rescue and You always meet my needs! That knowledge should cause me talk to You even more. For truly, Lord, I am grateful. And today, you have made me realize this so much more and I will take the time to pray and seek your Face in all matters. You have said for me to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17) and I have forgotten that at times.
You are very definitely my best Friend! And so, I say to You, “Hear my prayer, O God, give ear to the words of my mouth. May my heart praise You and may my mouth ask you to bless many souls with your great and wonderful gift of eternal life. Lead me to a soul that I can take to about You. Thank you Jesus.”
Talk to Jesus today – tell Him your needs, tell Him how much you love Him - How long has it been
THE GRASS ONLY LOOKS GREENER

Psalm 138:8 “ The LORD will work out his plans for my life—for your faithful love, O LORD, endures forever. Don’t abandon me, for you made me.”
Oh, that your peace will be within my soul, for I know that this is where you meant me to be. Lord, as I search your Word, I realize all the more that you have planted me right here! HERE!
I know that because you placed me here, you will be here with me. You made me and know far better just how well off I am in the right place.
So many times we humans think we should be somewhere else. Oh, the grass looks so much greener on the other side. Do we not realize that it still needs mowing and weeded! A well groomed yard has someone who is taking very good care of it spending hours on its care!
A life that is without all the ‘weeds’ of trouble that could be there, is also looked out by Someone Who is taking very good care of it! A Someone Who loves so much that it is no trouble at all to put a hedge around that life and to put the right desires into the heart and soul by leading through God’s Word. That Someone is God Himself! He loves me! He loves you! And because of that He will never leave us alone.
“Now, Lord, do your grooming on this soul of mine! Teach me your peaceful ways so that I may in turn teach others your special plan for their life! Help me to always be content with where you planted me!”
