About the Book

My devotional is based on my ten-year-old son and his escapades with certain figures of the Bible. The short stories come from a child’s viewpoint and are both humorous and at times serious.

About the Author

Dr. Jeff Allen wanted to write a devotional for children and felt a dedication to his oldest son as a birthday gift would be a unique surprise. He owns a counseling practice that specializes in addictions, substance abuse, anger management, and relationship issues. Those experiences dealing with clients from all walks of life have helped him to discern certain situations and hopefully have helped individuals over the last several years to gain strength and tools to make positive choices for their futures. He lives and maintains his office in his hometown of Lake Wales, Florida. Jeff is married to his best friend and soul mate, Kim, and they have three dogs. Jeff and Kim embrace every moment given to them and are blessed because of their relationship to Jesus Christ and each other.
