Prepare the Way of the Lord

An Open Heaven

Hear the word of the Lord:

“You are under an open heaven. There is no distance between you and I. Your tears, your travail, have torn an opening in the heavenlies, and now you have access to all My blessings, to My very manifest presence in your life. The veil has been torn, it has been split in two, and now you will see Me face to face. You will hear My voice so clearly in this hour; truly you will know that we are one. You will see visions, signs, and wonders beyond your wildest dreams. All of the suffering, all of the travail, has brought you to this place of glory.
“Can you see Me, little ones? Don’t you know that I am here beside you? Can’t you feel My presence in this hour drawing you, wooing you into that high place and position that I have prepared for you? You are seated in heavenly places in Me, and now you will walk in a high place of power with your God. No more will you grovel in the dirt, for I have prepared a throne for you, a place so high, a place right next to Me, near to My heart. You will begin to rule and reign with Me now under this open heaven. You will see Me as the only true Sovereign Ruler of the Universe. My angels will attend to all of your needs, and there will be nothing held back from you. You have paid the cost through surrender and obedience to My will. You have embraced your cross daily, and now the dark clouds will part and you will see and experience the open heaven that is above you, that is beside you, yes, all around you. You will walk in the open expanse of heaven. There will be no more walls or hindrances, for you have reached the mountaintop of My glory. All will be fresh and new in your lives, every chain and shackle now broken. The chains of yesterday forever gone; freedom, power, joy, love, and My life will now fill you to overflowing.
“Oh children, My surrendered, faithful warriors, look up now, for in this hour you will see My face, My glory, for no dark cloud will dim My glorious face. An open heaven––an open heaven! I give you a glorious view of all that I have for you, of all that is coming. No darkness will dim your view, children. The cross has torn that veil within your hearts, and now you will see that I have been with you––I have been in you through all the storms of life.
“This is a new day, a glorious day, and your pillow will no longer be a ‘rock,’ but you will now rest your head on My bosom and experience a love and comfort that no earthly mother could ever give you. My arms of love are wrapped around you, and soon you will see that all of the suffering, all of the painful circumstances you have endured for My name’s sake, has been worth it. For these times have prepared you to minister in the harvest field, and you will see multitudes come into the fold, into My glorious Kingdom.
“Your heart has opened fully now, as a rose in full bloom, and all will smell My sweet fragrance coming forth from your life. An open heart, an open heaven, will now bring forth My end-time purposes, and I have chosen you, My precious bride, to be that one who will go forth to the ends of the earth.
“Hear Me, My children. Rend your hearts fully and be part of this end-time ‘Bridal Company.’ It will be worth it when you experience the fullness of what I have for your life. Release all to Me now and be at peace, for I am on My way––quickly, says the Lord your God.”

Christ in us, the hope of glory, desires us to see and experience His glory in a greater measure than we have ever known. As our spiritual sight develops more fully, we will see the heavens opened and the activity of the angels on this earth. Jesus is longing for the Church to walk under this open heaven––the place of intimacy with Christ where the manifest glory and presence of God is revealed to us––and the word that He spoke to Nathanael so long ago He speaks to us in this hour, “Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man” (John 1:51).
The apostle John was one who walked under an open heaven daily, and he was caught up to the throne in heaven, much like the apostle Paul. John says in Revelation 4:1 “…and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, ‘Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.’” Jesus walked as the Son of Man on this earth, and “When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him” (Matt. 3:16). Even as Paul, John, and Jesus walked under an open heaven, so does God desire that all of His children walk in freedom under a heaven that daily releases spiritual blessings. As our hearts are torn open we will find that there is no barrier between our hearts and God.
Many of the prophets of old walked under an open heaven. Ezekiel was one who was given great revelations from God as he was among the captives by the River Chebar; the heavens were opened and he saw visions of God. (See Ezekiel 1:1.) You, see, it is not usually on pillows of ease that great revelations will come to us, but it is in the hard place, even the place of struggle and captivity, that the Spirit will come with an open heaven to us. Don’t despise the hard place that He has you in, but know that this may be the very place where He comes to you in a glory that you have never before experienced.
