About the Book

In Errands for God, Part 1, Jim Kelly creates the beautiful story of family loved, lost, and then regained through the inner weaving and working of God.

This is the story of a man named Frank Miller and of his hidden talents. Together they bring hope to a community faced with an unimaginable evil whose tentacles reach worldwide, ensnaring millions of people in their evil grasp.

Frank is faced with the choice of getting involved or going his own way, just as we are every day in different ways. There are many forks in the road of decision, and Frank must choose which one he is willing to take.

About the Author

This is Jim Kelly’s first book but not his first story. Jim spent twenty-five years in law enforcement with two of the larger police departments on the West Coast and also contracted with the US Marshals Service for a time. Jim also spent three years with the US Army, stationed overseas for most of that time. During the times with these organizations, Jim served eight years on a SWAT team, three of which were as a counter sniper. Jim also served two years on a special operations team.

Jim is a graduate of Puget Sound Christian College as well as the internationally recognized Police and Fire Chaplains Academy, located in Seattle Washington. Jim has been involved in travel and mission trips around the world. In 2007–2008 Jim and his wife, Lynn, acted as child ambassadors with World Vision and participated in an eighty-city national tour with the AIDS Experience exhibit with the purpose of education and child sponsorship.

Jim and Lynn reside on the East Coast and are involved in numerous outreach organizations both nationally and internationally.
