The purposes of this book are to edify and help believers understand more fully the doctrines which are the basis of our salvation and relationship with God. Sin is any and everything in the disposition, purpose and conduct of man that is contrary to, opposed to, or not in accordance with the will of God. Like Abram, those who believe in Christ as the Son of God, the Messiah, the anointed one and his finished work on the cross…are imputed the righteousness of God… The attainment of this righteousness is wholly apart from the believer’s actions prior to or after imputation. The Scripture teaches two types of righteousness… Confessing one’s sins without belief in Jesus as to who he is and his mission serves no purpose… The believer… recognizes continual confession of sins as evidence of genuine salvation. If we are joined to Christ at the moment of justification and…Christ is perfect, then we attain a position “in Christ” of perfection. …sanctification connotes moral purity and victory over sin and the flesh…It is not perfection. It is a march towards perfection. Progressive sanctification is the continuing inward work of heart purification which only God can see. In practical sanctification, the believer’s actions demonstrate his separation from the secular and sinful. Concerning those who died prior to the crucifixion, their status with God rests upon their faith and reliance upon the means of salvation available… …when the actual sacrificial death of Christ took place, his shed blood retroactively substituted and replaced the blood of animals that were shed for the remission of sins.

This book helps believers understand more fully the doctrines which are the basis of our salvation and relationship with God. It educates instead of indoctrinates.
About the Author
Dr. Glenn R. Tingling is a retired CPA (New York state and the state of Florida), as well as an ordained minister who has served many churches in various part-time capacities. He is a graduate of Baruch College, of the City University of New York (B.B.A), Luther Rice Seminary (M.Div.) and United Theological Seminary (Th.D.). He has served at the local church and district levels as well as bible college instructor. His philosophy is to serve gratis in ministry wherever his job takes him. Therefore, he maintained a full time secular profession, first, as a banker, and then, as a CPA. He and his family currently reside in Deltona, Fl. Glenn loves to travel. He has visited Alaska and other states of the US, England, Canada, various countries in Central America, South America and the Caribbean, Egypt, Jordan, and Israel. He has been exposed to teachings from a Rabbi, Pastors, and Professors with various backgrounds including Baptist, Brethren, Evangelical Free, Holiness, Methodist, Nazarene, Presbyterian, Pentecostal, and Wesleyan churches. In 2010 Glenn retired from his full time profession as a CPA. This allowed him time to write this book.
