“No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house,” Mark 3:27 & Matthew 12:29.

Unclean spirits or devils, which cause sicknesses and diseases, operate on the principle outlined above. The “strong man” in a person—and every person has a strong man—it’s your will. You can only be sick if you ACCEPT sickness. Never accept any unhealthiness. The instant you accept that you are unwell you are sick, for as a man (woman) thinks in his (her) heart so is he. If you accept the doctors’ report, it becomes your reality. Never declare that you are ailing.

Always speak health over yourself and others not death or disease even when the doctor says otherwise. Refuse any symptoms of affliction, curse them and command them to leave your body in the name of Jesus Christ. And you will be well. This works for Christian or unsaved, as long as he believes, for this is a principle in God’s Word.

When a person believes the reports of his physicians and ACCEPTS them, they ensnared him or her. The Devil has effectively “taken” that person in one of his traps or works of the Devil. He did not resist.

Resist the Devil and he will flee form you is another important Christian principle, James 4:7. It’s applicable to every area of our lives for it’s not restricted to temptations. Symptoms of illness inform you that unclean spirits want to reside in your body. This is the Devil testing you to see if you would resist him.

Therefore, the Adversary constantly sends different sicknesses and diseases our way. If we resist and reject them as works of the Devil, we remain well; on the other hand, if we accept them as our reality we are deceived and taken “captive” by Satan. When a person accepts infirmity he or she is “taken” in a trap, and he or she is “bound” as a hostage through the fear of death until he or she dies. The fear of death keeps one prisoner.

There are people who have been ignorantly living with sickness and disease for many years, but the day the doctor tells him or her that, you have cancer, if that person accepts that reports he or she will die soon after.

On the other hand, if they refuse to believe that they will die they shall life. This is a biblical principle that works for everyone, you don’t have to be a Christian for it to function on your behalf, and it operates for all who refuse the diagnosis of death. By refusing to accept symptoms and diagnosis of unhealthiness, you are resisting the Devil. Resist him by confessing your good health, but do all you can to eradicate the disease without accepting it.

There are many accounts of unsaved and nonbelievers who were diagnosed with cancer, and to whom doctors have assigned only a few more days to live. These people refused the report of death, they have fought and believed that they will live and have lived many more years because they were not taken by the Devil in his lure of death. They resisted the Devil and he ran away, he must flee if you resist. But if you believed the doctors report that you will die you have taken the Devil’s bait for now you are trapped, and “the fear” of death will keep you a captive to that believe until you die.

After you are taken in the allurement of the Adversary that you are unwell and you are going to die, then the fear that you will die keeps you captive to the belief that you will die because of your condition and because of hopelessness. Now, you are in “the pit”. You have been caught, taken and, are captive and you shall remain a prisoner until you die. Nevertheless, there is hope of release in Jesus Christ from the prison of sickness. Jesus Christ came and liberated all the captives from the confinement of the malady. Christ came and he destroyed all the works of Satan, and he regained the keys of death and hell.
