She became involved in abusive relationships and marriages that almost destroyed her before she finally gave her life to Christ, who showed her the way to true love. This book is a must-read for single adults, youth from the age of sixteen, couples planning to marry, and women who are victims of domestic violence.
About the Author
Lillian Gold is the pastor emeritus of the Powerhouse Church of Jesus Christ in New York City. She holds a master of divinity degree as well as a master of social work degree. While providing pastoral counseling for the congregation at the Powerhouse, she also worked as a psychotherapist; worked with women who are victims of domestic violence; developed and directed human service programs; and served as a college primary instructor. Lillian is currently married to Deacon Quincy Gold; they have five children and live in New York.
