About the Author

Eugene Stefaniuk has eight decades of life behind him and has seen many changes during his lifetime. He was born at Cudworth, Saskatchewan, Canada, during the Great Depression. At eighteen months, he traveled with his parents for three weeks in a covered wagon to Manitoba.

A few years later, the family returned to Cudworth. Here, Eugene started his education. Once finished, he taught school in Manitoba and later enlisted in the RCAF for three years. He was honorably discharged and then worked as a shipper, packer, and receiver for a firm in Winnipeg, Manitoba. At that point he entered into a four-year seminary study at St. Andrew’s College in Winnipeg. He was ordained in May of 1962.

After his ordination, he was posted in Western Canada for pastoral work and served many country congregations, some of which were as distant as four hundred miles. At one time he served eleven congregations and traveled in rain, snow, sleet, and many storms, both summer and winter.

Eugene has written a number of manuscripts (all unpublished), as well as his life history, updated to the end of 2012. Today people have pushed God out of their lives, families, schools, and governments; they have made themselves gods. We all have a will, but in this book Eugene says that God’s will is greater than man’s. Living a person’s life with faith and belief in God, one can attain peace as they never have known before; by living and following God’s laws, one can inherit life eternal in heaven.
