4th&inches

FREE RUNNING FAITH
This passage in Matthew is the result of a great FAITH coming in contact with the life giving love of Christ. These are the things that take place, the miracles that are birthed when we actually accompany our faith with the love of Christ. It is not enough to believe that you are saved, rather believe in the Christ and the God doing the saving. Faith accompanied with the love of God is His very presence in us. It is the proof of His existence and resurrection. I love how it is put in Hebrews 11:1 “ now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” When I read this I like to substitute the words hope and things not seen with Christ. Now faith is the substance of Christ, the evidence of Christ. He is our faith that we not just be motivated or inspired but so loved that it affects the way we wake up in the morning. This Love grabs hold of the way we think and approach life. So since Christ is our faith, when we drop back in our offensive attack to throw the ball to faith we are really giving the love to Christ to move His work in us. We must open ourselves up to receive the love of Christ that it will ignite our faith to give love back to Him that He may use it to do work through us. The women in Matthew brought her faith, but it was her Love prompted her to go. She did not just settle for knowing that the love of Jesus could heal her. I imagine she woke up a little different that morning knowing that Jesus was so close. Her transformation began in her spirit from anticipation alone. She knew where she was going. This is how we are called to love. We cannot conquer the 4th&inches without first agreeing on the fact that Christ is our faith. He is the very life that sustains us as we purge through on 4th&inches.
