This, my first poem written and published, remains a favorite of all ages:
THE DANCING LEAVES
I passed some dancing leaves today,
They moved in groups that paved my way.
The splended colors of red and gold,
Were all to glorious to behold.
The time to enjoy seemed far to short,
As the colors became mixed and out of sort.
Reminds me of life so colorful and divine,
I can hardly take in a myriad of colors , this fine,
The last chance for autumn's magnificent rebirth,
Dancing leaves soon returned to the earth...
So gently laid to rest, no more strife,
The wondrous colors that make up life.

The author has a passion for poetry and has been writing since 1998. She has had many published poems since then. Having a personal relationship with God is a natural inspiration for her and the appreciation of the beauty he creates in nature.
She resides in beautiful Wisconsin, surrounded by four amazingly beautiful seasons, with a large, loving family and many encouraging friends.
