Green
Green is the freshness of a new season’s taste,
Green is the scent of the March breeze in one’s face.
Green is a color that soon spreads everywhere,
Green is the breaking of winter’s bleak state.
Green is a sight without equal of peer,
Green is the sign that springtime is here.
Green is all of nature as it starts to grow and thrive,
When the season of death is over and everything comes alive.

About the Book
Poems Compiled is a collection of the poems and insights that Adrienne has spent a lifetime putting together. They portray both her struggles, her love of nature and, above all, her deep love for God. She hopes that they will give others some joy and inspiration.
About the Author
Adrienne was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1969. She’s been obsessed with books since she was twelve months old and writing since she was eleven. She graduated from Messiah College with a B.A. in History and has worked in various museums.
