God Wasn’t Ready for Me Yet is the factual story of my life, concentrating on my marriage, ending in my daughter and me being gunned down by my husband.
About the Author
My ex-husband was sentenced to thirty years for attempted murder of me, thirty years for attempted murder of my daughter, and thirty years for home invasion. I am a living miracle. I have three bullets in my head and one behind my heart. People need to hear my story and understand that only God is control of life. The Devil wanted me dead, but my God wanted me to live. I had no major surgeries, nor am I taking medication. God is a good God, and I know he wants me to share my story with others, to prevent them from going through what I did.
I live in Chicago, Illinois, and God blessed me to receive my master's degree from the University of Illinois at Springfield. I remember all my education, job history, and my personal life. Everything except the shooting. God is so great, he protected from that horrible night in so many ways. A memory of that horror would have destroyed me.
In 2003, I appeared on Maury Povich’s talk show. That's why I can share my story with ease because I have no memory and it does not affect me in any way. This testimony is so very important, because this story is proof that almighty God is still on the throne.
