What can we learn from the women God Himself has placed in His Word?
Every one of these women,
(the good, the bad, and yes, even the ugly!),
has a story.
God foresaw a lesson worthy of noting in each of their lives. Therefore, if they were important enough for God to use and put in His Word as examples for our benefit, are they not important enough for us to know? The only way to repeat the mistakes of the past is not know them! These women are our spiritual pasts. They lived literally B.C.! Before Christ; chronologically and spiritually and A.D. in the years of Our LORD, Anno Domini
Forget all your preconceived notions about these women's' lives. We are going to give them all a face-lift! Botox unnecessary, just look up! We will walk in their shoes, sandals, and bare feet, whatever, however!
Let us journey together some 5000 years into the past to meet them; and possibly we will meet ourselves in the process.
God allowed a recording of each of their lives to be recorded saw a lesson in. If they were important enough for God to use and put in His Word as examples, for our benefit; aren't they important enough for us to know? In a seemingly male-dominated hierarchy of faith, the Big Guy upstairs has always included the female gender in His modus operandi, never to be shunned by the gender that seems to be more at a loss for words, less likely to attempt deeds that go unrewarded, and has more alpha issues than a bowl of alphabet soup.
About the Author
I am an out-of-the-box individual. I color outside of the lines. I do crossword puzzles, coloring in some boxes and putting more than one letter in others, thinking my word is better than the intended one! This narrative sparks curiosity, and ignites the mind to pursue answers, invite discussions, and prompts dialogue. My goal, since I love “but what if” questions is to empower your confidence in seeking the Truth.
