It had been a rough day at the office and one of those days when nothing seemed to go right. Maybe it's the moon. Every time it's a full moon, people in general are really irrational.

What the heck makes the difference; I've got to leave tomorrow on an international flight to Australia. I hate to fly anywhere and Australia represents about 24 hours of flight time. That's a long time in a tin bird.

The traffic is really bad tonight, but its Friday evening, so I guess I should expect that in New York City.

The traffic light turned green; I’m finally getting out of the big city far enough for the traffic to start thinning out. Boy, is that a relief.

Can't believe how many close call accidents I see every day. It's a wonder there aren’t more people killed the way these New Yorkers drive.

I pulled into my driveway and headed up the sidewalk with briefcase in my hand. This briefcase carries all my brains for the upcoming conference in Sydney and the darn thing weighs a ton.

Packing has been going on for a week for this Engineering meeting and I'm worn out before I even leave home.

I hurried up the steps to the front porch. There was a note stuck on the front door.

I'll bet I know who the notes from. It's probably from Jennifer, my new next door neighbor. I've taken her out a couple of times for a sandwich and coffee. She moved in about three weeks ago and I helped her setup her beds and move some furniture around.

She wanted to repay me for all my efforts so she insisted that she take me out for dinner; her treat.

Well, I accepted the invitation but I think I’ve got into a relationship that's going a little bit too fast for my comfort zone.
