Introduction
It is very important to understand the unity of the Bible
A. One feature of the Bible is that it is a collection of books that displays unity within its diversity. The Bible is rightfully the word of God.
The Old and New Testaments are complemented essentially and organically in such manner that the two together form an indissoluble unity, being one, the necessary complement and fulfillment of the other.
It is understood that there is continuity and discontinuity between the Old and New Testaments. The study of the relationship between the two Testaments has been intense especially, as we will notice, since the resurgence of the biblical theology.
The promise and fulfillment of salvation seems to offer the best solution to the issue of continuity: The Old is the promise, and the New is the fulfillment. We can never divorce the New Testament from the Old Testament. No one can explain the theology of the New Testament without the full knowledge of the theology of the Old Testament. Therefore, it is of crucial importance to interpret the Old Testament in the light of the complete revelation in the person of Jesus Christ, the word of God incarnated, where the total Trinitarian faith of the church is originated.
The whole Bible is the context within each part must be understood. There is a unity of themes throughout the Bible. The spiritual ideas given to men through the leaders of Israel that were enthroned in the Old Testament had a life that lasted until the New Testament.
The center and the objective of the entire Bible is Jesus Christ. This gives the two Testaments a perspective that sees Jesus as the fulfillment and purpose of the law. (THIS IS AUTHOR’S EMPHASIS, CHANGES WILL INTERFERE WITH IT).
The theology of the Old Testament, as it is stated, is the preparation for the New Testament, and is the foundation upon which the theology of the New Testament is built.
Each Testament has its own distinctive emphasis. The Old Testament’s emphasis is the sanctity of God. The New Testament’s emphasis is love. But the God of the Bible is in reality the God of holy love. The reader will encounter in the book a biblical theology in concordance and unity between both Testaments.
B. It is reasonable to think or believe that God would not leave the man in ignorance without revealing the realities of all of His creation. The creation of the physical universe demands from all rational beings the belief in an almighty Creator and that there is an infinite Being who gave origin to all things, and that the man is the crown of His creation. It is correct to think, believe and expect that the Creator communicates with His creatures with the purpose of making them to know His will and His heavenly purposes. God is the Creator of all that exists, revealing Himself in different ways. Since He is the source of all truth, He must be true in relation to Himself in His capacity as Creator and Lord of all things. (FURTHER CHANGES WILL INTERFERE WITH AUTHOR’S INTENTION)
C. Among the great affirmations of the Christian faith is the declaration of God Almighty (Genesis 17: 1) that He is the Creator of heaven and earth (Genesis 14:19). The creation is about the origins: the origin of matter, energy, stars, planets, plants, animals, man, and all the things that exist and those that might exist in the future. Creation can be defined as the act of God’s free will, which caused the existence of the universe and everything in it, without the use of pre-existing materials, as the materials that exist now are made from those that did not exist (Hebrews 11:3). Therefore, God created the physical elements even when they did not yet exist. The creation was and is the act of God’s free will. The world, including man, was not created to satisfy a need or deficiency in God, because the divine nature has no inherent needs. The creation was the result of a voluntary decision of the sovereignty of God, and is a demonstration of His greatness and power; an expression of His glory.
D. As something that was created, the world has a distinct and separate existence from God. The world should not be considered part of God, as God itself (pantheism). However, the world is absolutely dependent on God and is continually supported by His power (Colossians 1:16-17; Hebrews 1:1-3).

About the Author
Oscar Garcia was born in Cuba in a home where the words religion, God, and Christ were never mentioned. In his youthful years, he joined revolutionary groups and met Fidel Castro. Later, when Castro was dictator of Cuba, Garcia was sent to jail. He was able to escape to the United States. There, he joined a group of men who tried to liberate Cuba of Castro’s communism. They arrived at the Bay of Pigs, Cuba, but their attempt to invade Cuba failed. He was sent to jail once more. But at that moment, something incredible happened. Garcia had access to a New Testament, and for the first time he learns about to the one and only God and his son, Jesus Christ, and accepted Him as his only Savior. His life changed immediately. Sometime later in the United States, President Kennedy paid Castro a ransom to free all prisoners from the invasion of the Bay of Pigs. Already in the land of liberty, Oscar Garcia became a Christian pastor. Since then, Pastor Garcia has been member of the true army, the army of God, testifying in churches and civic groups in many countries in the United States and Latin America and gaining lives for Christ.
