Good News From a Far Country: The Kingdom Invasion of the Mind

In establishing the Kingdom of Heaven on the earth, Jesus promulgated a thinking that is alien to this planet. His Kingdom is not of this world. The Administrative Principles that govern this Kingdom are shrouded in a thinking that is contrary to and different from the thought systems that man has devised. From Isaiah 55, we know that the thinking of Heaven is not like the thinking of earth. “My thoughts are not your thoughts and my ways are not your ways. For as the heavens are higher that the earth so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8-9) Whether you are aware or not, your mind has been damaged by exposure to the world. It was damaged by the fall. The thinking of the Kingdom of God comes by the renewing of the mind. “And do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” (Romans 12:2) This is the central text of this book.
