When I was a young boy I used to trivialize matters on life. The strict primary school teacher taught us that God created man in his own image and when I joined high school my attitude changed with regard to spiritual matters. One afternoon a Biology teacher talked about Darwin theory which negatively did not recognize man was crated by God. The creator brought about a big disagreement since Christian union students were angered by this position of the biology started crying uttering the words praise God! Class and shocked the whole school when he dropped biology as a subject in form four examinations E.A.C.E. The worried teachers, students and the mother could not convince him to change his stand but the headmaster described him as a fanatic or lunatic student. “Do not use your freedom as a cover up to sin” a teacher mode this observation.
The Christian union teacher got so much worked up and the following day decided to pray briefly during morning assembly. The headmaster, the teachers and more than seven hundred students were a little bit nervous but attentive. The Christian union teacher talked about the sensitive issue in reference to the boy who dropped the biology subject and in deed cautioned the “holier the “holier than though” crusaders who are only either Christians or the African idol worshipers I think he thundered.
“Education may not help this country if good character, integrity, trust, honesty and Christ's love is not upheld by schools. We may help their children in terms of guidance and love leadership”. This brought the interjected and asked the teacher if ignored him. The parents should build trust, love and love their children. They should action the role model and stop behaving like lions that use the physical power, it pains me and millions of hearts will bleed in many years to come. The father of Wilfred chased the boy and furled him out of the house and now he is staying with his uncle. And the sin he committed was dropping the biology subject. The Christian union teacher opened the bible and told students and teachers to read at their own time proverbs 3:1-6.
The following morning another teacher by the name John replaced Michael to lead the morning assembly prayers.
At the University I found myself studying and interacting with colleagues and lecturers who did not bother to know whether you are a Christian or not but real freedom of worship was evident. So many divergent view regarding salvation, Jesus as a Saviour, God as a creator, Islamic faith traditionalist, atheist Hindu faith are word respected. I realized the conflict of creation and evolution of man has triggered.
Intellectual turmoil and spiritual yearning for many years. What about disserting for Holy Spirit? The Divine power of God has given us freedom to choose Christ or the devil, but GOD’S WILL remain absolute and always comes FIRST. In Gods divine providence our, prayers are answered while his will remains intact but because of his constant love, he can release the Grace to guide us in all matters. After researching, examining the reality of parents bringing up leadership, I wish to share the cogent information that there is critical mass of parents trapped in ignorance, lack of visionary and loving leadership hence the “Youth” are reliant on parents who may be destroying and breaking their hearts. And yet the parents Hearts are Bleeding as the drugs, cheap bear, consumptions, and care free mass commercialized sex practices take the toll on the youth’s lives. There is a dire desperation and the parents are turning in the drugs, commercial sex, booking for money at whatever cost even involving evil rituals, building partnership with the fallen Angels and baying for blood to meet the set targets. The problems are insurmountable since everything is shrouded by secrecy and a husband can buy several cars for wife who leads to flatter life but does not know what is in store for her. The “Evil Prosperity” is spreading very quickly as the brutal spirit of competition takes roots and this is fueled by the powerful images of power, wealth, fame, love beauty found everywhere in the internet advertising, TV shows, print and electronic media etc.
I encountered two men enjoying a bear in a BAR and they had a misunderstanding but a colleague reconciled them and said Roman 3: 10-20” These days there is no fighting in bars like before but fighting and exchange of brawls is the order of the day in churches” and a fundamental questions was asked by a man seated at the corner “What are they fighting for and our God is silent”. “It is sheer hypocrisy and act of idiocy” another man retorted.
There was a man with a camera taking a beer and he joined the discussion by remarking “It is an insidious danger to society as a whole” I walked out hurriedly but my heart telling me to return another day to witness such an inspiring and revealing discussion. And vitally important I felt challenged spiritually because one drunk man started shouting Amen! Amen! This place is even better to get peace though it is a bar. I sat on a pavement pondering what is all these but suddenly I remembered in the scripture there is Mathew 5:8

About the Author
Joseph Musyimi Makato was born in Machakos District in Kenya. He attended the local schools for his primary and secondary education. He graduated from the University of Nairobi with a bachelor’s of arts with honors and further trained in marketing professionally. He holds a huge wealth of management demeanor, exposure, and experience from seminars, training, and workshops attended in many countries in Europe. He enjoys public speaking in areas of motivation and opening up to God.
In his vertical career progression, he worked in the tourism industry with an international company. He has widely traveled worldwide. He worked with the corporate blue chip companies in Kenya as a senior marketing manager. Joseph has the propensity for doing consultant work, research, and charity work centered on youth entrepreneurship programs in terms of projects and fostering a business culture. He is married and blessed with four grown sons and a daughter.
