Can you imagine what it is like for a young child to experience grief? This book will bring out the reality that heaven is a place of peace and happiness. Grief, heaven, and the young child are all mentioned in the Bible. Few people know that animals are mentioned in there too. It says that they will live in peace together. That they will not hurt or destroy each other. Elephants are not mentioned in Isaiah 11, but if there are animals, then there must be elephants too! As you read the book, try to spot our shy little friend hiding on each page.

About the Author

Mrs. Zaragoza is a preschool teacher who is lovingly called “Ms. Cindy” by her students. Throughout her years of experience, she has read many children’s books. Ms. Cindy was inspired by how a book could light up a child, stir their imagination, and cause them to be content in having it read to them over and over again. The intention of this book is to help children through the healing process of losing a loved one, to let them know that their loved one is very happy in heaven. Ten years ago, a little boy came into this world to meet his family and feel their gentle touch and hear their soothing voices. Minutes later, he slipped quietly away, back into the arms of our Heavenly Father. This little boy was Ms. Cindy’s grandson. This experience has opened the doors to touch the lives of others and to share the fact that heaven is a place of peace, healing, and happiness. Mrs. Zaragoza lives in Moline, Illinois. She is a wife of thirty-four years, a mother of three, a grandma of five, and has been a teacher of many.
