About the Book
Bullying affects one out of every six children in school today. The effects can be long-lasting and painful. Acts of Courage is a tool to teach needed skills to kids before they encounter bullies. About the Author
Karen Haslett’s career began as a special-education teacher with a double major in psychology and education. Upon receiving her master’s degree, she worked as a school psychologist, serving students, parents, and teachers in public schools.
