I know our house isn’t the only one where at bedtime your child has a ton of reasons why they cannot go. So many children are so hyped up at bedtime—and so hopefully you will see your kid as I saw mine

About the Author

Watching each of my three children as they grew up, I saw that each had a different approach at bedtime. My son wasn’t too difficult, but the daughters were something else—especially the youngest one. God placed on my heart to watch, listen, and then put on paper the challenges of getting her to go to bed. I’m sure my wife and I aren’t the only parents to experience this.

John Macon grew up in the Cincinnati area and served in the military. Currently, he works as a postman. He has a wonderful wife Yzvetta and after three beautiful children Dorian, Kyle and Mya.. John hopes families enjoy this story as parents remember their own bedtime experiences with their children.

John F. Copenhaver is an Art Education major and currently serves as an Assistant Principal for the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati Ohio. He and his wife Sheila have two sons John Jr. and Brad who were two boys who never liked going to bed. John has always wanted to illustrate children’s books as long as he could remember. This is his first book to illustarte but definitely not his last.
