About the Book
This book is aimed at the military, veterans, and those looking for Christian encouragement. It is written by a former combat veteran, who understands the issues of returning to civilian life. I designed this book as a Christian blueprint for inspirational guidance, to aid combat veterans while directing them on their spiritual journey, addressing any concerns while seeking God’s presence through the transition.
About the Author
I was deployed for 14 months in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. I am a Christian, and I understand some of the trials we face as returning combat veterans. What better way can a combat veteran deal with the emotions of trying to fit back into society than with a blueprint that explains and shows God’s love for us? I wanted to share some experiences of my defeats and how God’s manifested love turned those defeats into triumphs.
I was born and raised in San Diego, California. I joined the US Army and was stationed in Bad Kitgzen and Bad Kreuznach, Germany. The only stateside base I was stationed at was Ft. Lewis, Tacoma, Washington, with the 170th Military Police. I was deployed to Korea for an exercise called “Team Spirit.” .
