Now we can fully understand how Lucifer, the star of the dawn, by his own choice became Beelzebub, or the chief of demons who is called Satan. He chose to allow darkness to enter his spirit; this caused confusion in his thinking leading to ugly emotions beginning with jealousy. His jealousy became anger; his anger became the desire to destroy God’s new creation. His newfound sense of self-sufficient pride led to an arrogant and unwise attempt to supersede the very authority of his own source and Creator. This made him imperfect, and his imperfection led to separation from the presence of absolute perfection Himself forever. His separation from the only source of life led to his own spiritual, or eternal death, and anyone who follows after his evil ways of thinking will follow him into eternal death in the abyss created for the author of death and his followers. Beelzebub became the very definition and origin of evil. He was created to be Lucifer, star of the dawn, a beautiful Archangel of God. He freely chose to become Satan who is filled with perpetual darkness, totally twisted, blinded to the truth, and dead in spirit…the evil, or twisted, deceiver of mankind.
Mankind was created to be the most intimate part of God’s immediate family, but Satan wants to twist us away from our intended purpose, just as he became twisted from his original purpose; he wants to destroy our unity with God, because he hates us. We don’t have to do anything to cause him to hate us; he hates us because of his own jealousy, ferocious anger and spiritually blinded pride. His darkness, his opposition to man is now his only remaining purpose as decreed by God; he is the means for our comparison in choosing our own destiny. He is the head, or chief of spiritual darkness and the author of eternal death.
It’s utterly amazing just how intricate and interrelated God’s creations are. God used the creation of mankind as an opportunity for his angels to choose whether to remain loyal to Him, and thus to freely choose whether to love Him in a mutual exchange of perfect fellowship as His sons. Now He’s using the fallen angels, who elected to become full of spiritual darkness, death and hatred, as the basis for mans’ comparison to God’s perfect Light of Life and love.
God has presented us with the perfect contrast to His own character as a definitive point of reference in our choosing because He loves us, and His greatest desire is for us to choose to love Him in return. The character of our point of reference is exactly the opposite of God’s perfection and goodness. This means our choices bring about precisely opposite results…either good or evil. Adam’s poor choice to become disloyal to God demonstrates how far reaching one bad choice can be. It also fully demonstrates the deceiver’s ability to make improper choices and actions appear harmless and enticing. Satan is indeed crafty, and we should never forget that. We need God’s wisdom to overcome the deceiver’s craftiness; we need God’s Light of Life within us because darkness can’t occupy the same space as light. God has separated them forever; it’s one of His laws of physics, and this holds true in both the physical realm and the spiritual realm.
Light is far more powerful than darkness; in fact, darkness is overwhelmed by light. In a large room filled with darkness, even the smallest glimmer of light becomes the only point of focus in the room. Satan and his followers are full of darkness; we need to be filled with God’s Light of Life, otherwise we place ourselves at risk of being swallowed up by the same spiritual darkness that consumed the demons. That darkness leads to blind pride; that self-centered arrogance causes people to believe they can overcome God’s decrees of truth regarding their choice of destiny, but they can’t, just as Lucifer and the other fallen angels couldn’t. The time of choosing for the angels came and went, and far too many chose the darkness over God’s Light of Life. Now is the time of choosing for mankind, and when our time of choosing has ended we will be filled with either God’s Light of Life or Satan’s spiritual darkness and death. There is no middle ground. Choose life.

Wouldn’t you just love to truly understand the purpose of your life, along with that of everyone and everything else in existence?
This is not as difficult to realize as some believe. We only need to openly resolve a few fundamental questions from a big-picture perspective. Then understanding the purpose of everything will become more a matter of common sense than such a great mystery.
These are the basic questions:
- Did we merely evolve, or were we created?
- If we were created, why were we created?
- If we were created by God, whose god, from which religion, is the genuine God?
- Can we know with absolute certainty that particular God is real?
- Why would any factual God allow bad things to happen to so many good people?
- And, can we know with certainty whether there’s an afterlife?
We all instinctively contemplate these questions, either consciously or subconsciously, so we must resolve them to understand who we are and our place in the grand scheme of things.
Let’s settle these issues once and for all.
About the Author
As a Christian father and mentor, my greatest aspiration is to help people rise above the ever-increasing assault against not only our faith, but also our very creation by God. Only we can teach our children, and others, the truth. The public educational institutions, and every form of media available, are relentlessly bombarding our minds with the supposition of a big-bang followed by haphazard evolution as the only intellectually sophisticated explanation for our existence. Simultaneously, the bogus glamour of evil is being successfully promoted as superior to God’s ways of excellence and genuinely exhilarating fulfillment in life. All of this deception can easily be overcome with just a little practical logic exalted by Biblical wisdom.
I’ve spent many years during my career writing extensive yet interesting and successful business proposals; I believe that entire experience was merely preparation for writing a particularly straightforward and engaging proposal for the Christian faith. I’m very hopeful it can be of substantial value to the body of Christ; not only for helping us confidently explain the sheer logic of God as the only viable source of all creation, but also in testifying to others about God’s astonishing purpose for us within His creation. I thank the Lord for preparing me to begin this labor of love, and I humbly thank you for helping me to finish it by spreading these words to others.
