Sometimes, our wounds have been with us for so long, that they become what we hide behind, what we find our value in, and what we find comfort in because it is all that we know. This is a lie and we have to stop believing it.
At the end of this day, all I had was God. The conflict I was faced with was to stay hurt and wounded, or allow God to be the solution to a problem that I would never have to revisit again.
I had a decision to make and so do you. We can truly heal in God and never have to visit the pain of the experience again. He gives us this choice. It may cause pain while we go through it, but wouldn’t you rather it hurt for a short time rather than infiltrate our hearts negatively for the rest of our lives?

About the Book
Isaiah 61 clearly talks about God’s desire for us. He has come to heal the broken hearted, proclaim liberty to the captives and to set the bound free.
We often get consumed and emotionally damaged by all of the pain that has hit our lives. We tend to run to different things to fulfill us and make us whole in God, when all we really need is God himself. God wants us to heal emotionally in him and live freely in His presence. He loves us, and desires for us to intimately know him. Come on a journey with Brittney Perillo as she unravels what healing in God can look like from many perspectives, but all yielding the same result, wholeness in Him. There will be stories of women from the Bible as well as stories from modern day women that have been hurt and lost in their own pain or pain caused by others and found healing in God.

About the Author
Brittney Perillo lives with husband Richard in Buffalo, New York. They call The Chapel in Getzville, NY their church home. Brittney has been blessed with several ministry opportunities to speak, teach and lead in the following settings and capacity: Abstinence Programs, Inner City Youth Programs, Young Women’s Conferences, bible studies, Buffalo City Schools, and Youth Camps. She is currently enrolled at Liberty University where she will earn a degree in Religion, she will also obtain a minor in Christian Counseling. In her free time Brittney enjoys blogging, journaling and reading.
