He lifted his hand towards the heavens where the stars nestled as shattered pieces of glass in violet velvet. The tips of his fingers were not much bigger than mine, and yet with my own eyes I saw them brush a few scintillating bits out of place and close around one of the most brilliant. Its light shone through his fingers and reflected in the ancient, silver depths of his eyes as he brought it down, its radiance erupting as soon as he opened his hand. The star rested in his palm.
“But...that’s...”
“Impossible? Have you not yet learned...nothing is impossible for me.”

There is a world beyond this one where true reality cannot yet be seen by our mortal gazes, but there is one who reveals by His light. These are the tales of the unseen.

Lewis said, “The value of myth is that it takes all the things you know and restores to them the rich significance which has been hidden by the veil of familiarity.” Substance of the Unseen strips away that veil of familiarity, reignites the excitement of a relationship with Jesus Christ, and takes what is unseen and makes it tangible.
