A native of Duluth, Minnesota, she earned a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education, special education, and preschool, with a minor in history.
She and her husband, Craig, live on ten quiet, wooded acres in South Range, Wisconsin, where she writes books and music and sews dolls with Bible verses for missions around the world.
