Introduction
This book has been written to help as many people as possible suffering from the hurts of suicide. I want people to know that suicide is not the way out of a painful situation. No matter what you are going through, suicide is not the answer nor should it be an option. It’s my prayer that this book will help others to understand how suicide attacks the mind. I want to shine a light on suicide so others will be able to see it’s signs; understand how it works on the mind and how to stop the spirit of suicide from working in your life.
It is also my desire to help those left behind after losing a love one to suicide. I completely understand that pain. I felt it, after my own son took his life and the life of his ex-girlfriend. This is a topic in which many will not talk about. Most assume that you have to be crazy to commit suicide, but that just is not the case. It’s time to break the silence and we all need to know more about this uncomfortable subject. We must talk about this so we can help ourselves and maybe even someone else. You may know someone who is thinking about suicide at this very moment.
There was a time in my life when I would not talk about suicide either. I have since, learned that if we don’t talk about it then we can’t educate ourselves on the topic. We cannot learn about those things in which we are afraid to speak of. God says in Hosea 4:6, that my people are destroyed from a lack of knowledge, (because they rejected knowledge).
I am not saying that I know all there is to know about suicide, but God, my Father has shown me some things on the subject and I want to share the revelations He has given me. I honestly believe what I have to say will help someone else. Maybe that someone else is you. Have you ever had thoughts of ending your life? Or as I mentioned before, maybe you are hurting from the loss of a love one due to suicide. I pray that this book will help you.
