True stories of an average, middle-class, American girl who comes to know a King, Creator, Father, Savior and Friend as she makes her journey home. All people die - rich or poor, young or old, educated or uneducated, red or yellow, black or white, male or female...all people die. But we should "Rejoice at a death and cry at a birth." About the Author

Glenda Counts Finley has served her Lord and Savior as the treasurer, the organist and most recently as a finance director, among other positions within His Church. She passionately loves Jesus Christ. Praising Him and bringing Him glory are her life goals.

She has always loved working for His Church. One sign she has displayed is three large letters J O Y which she will gladly tell you represent how we can have real joy in our lives, "Always keep Jesus first, Others second and Yourself last."

Glenda lives with her husband Rod in Maryville, Tennessee in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Their home sits next door to her mother's on the family farm once belonging to her father, grandfather and great-grandfather. They have two daughters, Amanda and Jennifer, two sons-in-law, Robbie and Parker, and a granddaughter, Caroline, who all live there on the family farm as well. Glenda enjoys reading, her Bible is her favorite, crafting, swimming and rocking her granddaughter, but rocking her granddaughter is the best!
