For helping hands, O Lord, we pray:
for hands that grow food,
for hands that cook and serve it,
we thank You today.
From all of Your bounty that Your hands do give,
we praise You, dear Lord.
May You bless and guide us as we live. Amen

the storehouse of His bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands."
The animals came two by two.
God, You told Noah just what to do.
Your love and faithfulness You did show.
That same promise is true for us, we know.
So, in gratitude we lift our prayer
to thank You for Your loving care,
for this food that we share,
and for all good gifts everywhere. Amen

About the Author
Sandra Henderson has always had a heart for young children. She was an early childhood and elementary grade teacher in Maryland for twenty-eight years. Sandra started, directed, and taught in a Christian preschool for thirteen of those years. She now resides with her husband in Boulder City, Nevada. They enjoy spending time in Santa Rosa, California, with their family, which includes six grandchildren.
