About the Author
At the tender age of four, Jim Wischer was forced to live with a child predator, where he languished for more than a decade. The sexual and physical abuse that he and his siblings endured nearly cost him his life. Some of his siblings were unable to survive or recover those awful years, but Jim has a very a different story to tell, one of healing and happiness.
Jim is now a “Crimes against Children” detective with a local sheriff’s office in southwest Florida, where he spends most of his time hunting down these predators.
As a victim, he had a permanent behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of a sadistic sexual predator.
As a law-enforcement officer, he learned the scope of these horrible crimes, as he witnessed the staggering number of new victims every year.
But as a survivor, Jim had allowed God to show him the path to true healing. This is the message that he tirelessly preaches to whomever will hear him. We are not alone in this universe. There is a God, in whose image we were made, who loves us and wants to give us life and freedom from the dark chains of our past.
Jim has been married to his wife Olwen for more than a decade and together with their son they enjoy their life in sunny Florida.
