About the Book
Sometimes it's hard to be yourself, especially when "yourself" isn't exactly like everybody else. This book will encourage your child to enjoy being the person God made her to be. Knowing that God loves us no matter what we look like or dress like frees our kids to be themselves, special and unique in God's eyes.
About the Author
Janice Turney Hutton has taught in a Christian preschool for over twenty-one years, observing many behaviors and listening to many words, both kind and not so kind. As a Christian teacher, it has been important to her to teach the children that their words and actions can either help or hurt their friends. Now, on the verge of retirement, it's a good time to share some of the unique scenarios she has witnessed over the years, continuing her teaching through the written word. Janice has always said that she'd write a book if she had anything to say. Now, after twenty-one years, she feels like she has a wealth of stories to share.
Janice lives with her husband in the small community of Bishop, located on the eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California. They have a son and a daughter, who will hopefully one day read Grandma's stories to little ones of their own.
