The next morning I awoke to the sound of my alarm beeping. I rolled over without opening my eyes and hit the snooze button. I could feel the tightness of my face and knew that my eyes were swollen and red from the night before. I didn’t want to face another day, and the thought of it made the tears come again. I couldn’t believe that I had anything left. I rolled over and opened my eyes; I could see the picture of the angel on my dresser. God had given me so many gifts, and I didn’t know why. He gave me a beautiful daughter I didn’t deserve, and I didn’t know why. He gave me the ability to be personable and to make friends, and I didn’t know why. He gave me the ability to draw, even that angel picture, and I didn’t know why. He gave me all these gifts I did not deserve, and I didn’t know why. As I, a hopeless undeserving sinner, thought of all these gifts He blessed me with, it happened, I trusted Christ. He gave me all these gifts and one of them was Jesus Christ, God’s gift.

About the Author
As stay-at-home mothers, Lorene and Andrea will admit they have not been called to be traveling preachers, ministers, motivational speakers, or even Sunday school teachers. They simply share a great love for the Lord and have been so richly blessed that they long to honor Him by fulfilling Mark 16:15 by spreading the word of promise. They have combined their talents with the hope of seeing souls saved.
