About the Book
One Western Town is the story of a young US Marshal in the post-Civil War West. It follows him through a journey of his past and drags him into the intrigue of present-day conflicts. The hero tackles justice, emotion, and family history with the reliance of his strong faith. Each chapter builds with exciting new information about him and his heritage. This is a novella for readers of all ages and interests.
About the Author
David Quell was born and reared in Peoria, Illinois. His father was a contractor, and his mother a housewife. His siblings included an older brother and a younger sister. He enjoyed playing basketball and dreamed of becoming a physician. David graduated from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. He attended The Chicago Medical School in North Chicago and was a resident physician at Cook County Hospital. Dr Quell now practices medicine in Joliet, Illinois and is the proud father of two beautiful daughters.
