Sonny decided to be a career criminal at the age of 14, not just any criminal but a genuine organized crime figure with power and money. The problem was he lived in a town where there wasn’t any. Wichita, Kansas had crime figures for sure, but organized crime? No way, and there was no way that he knew of to get an application to join. His chance came finally when he turned 20 years old and moved to Texas where by pure luck he was taken under the wing of a real mobster and offered a job which was simply carrying a gun on a private plane and protecting shipments of pot and cocaine back and forth into Mexico twice a month for $2,000 per trip. He’d never been so happy and excited, but before he could make one trip he was disowned by the mob. What happened next far surpassed anything that the mob could do for him. The next 37 years were with action packed adventure that Sonny was not expecting.
After becoming a christian in 1974 he experienced a corrupt jury and went to the Texas Dept. of Corrections for a crime he didn’t commit and experienced the meaning of the word barbaric. Upon release he sought out Christians as friends and in the next 6 months he started to get the idea that maybe his life was going to be a little out of the normal range because of the prophecies that came to him from prophets of God. Between 1974 and 2012 he went on 2 trips to heaven, 4 trips 300 years into the future, and 16 trips to prison. The frequency of supernatural happenings in his life made him start to think that maybe the trauma and drama of his life was worth recording.

About the Book
The stories in this book are real-life, supernatural experiences in the life of one man. Some of the subjects brought up in relation to those events are sure to be provocative and maybe even to some controversial, but Sonny has taken care to back up from the Bible what he has written, to show that God can do whatever He chooses. The Lord spoke audibly to Sonny in 1974 while he was in jail and not interested in anything spiritual. Sonny had chosen crime as a lifetime career choice, but after literally seeing the light and being body slammed in that jail cell, his life has drastically changed, and the things that have happened in his life since then, to say the least, are very unusual and noteworthy. Although a lot is given to action, thrills and chills, deep and unheard-of subjects are brought to light and examined in detail in the light of the Word of God. Readers can expect inspiration, encouragement, and instruction with adventure, mystery, suspense, and thrills with a few chills.
About the Author
Sonny resides in Wichita, Kansas, where he has started several businesses. The Midnight Rider is his first book, but as time has passed, some things will need to be explained, and therefore he is starting a sequel. Sonny is a serious student of the Bible, having read it over three hundred times and continues, as all Christians should, to seek further revelation and knowledge through the Word of God!
