—Joe Grimes, retired Cornell University linguistics professor
with Wycliff Bible Translators 2000 for da Jesus Book, New Testament in Hawaii Pidgin

"Da Sower is a book for all people, especially the locals who get a kick reading God's Word in Hawaii pidgin. Janice wrote how this book came to be and is in itself, 'da trut.' Setbacks only pushed her forward. She didn't allow any distractions. God bless you, sista, for a wonderful book, with more to come. Go get ‘em, girl!”
—Jennie Borge, pastor, Jesus Christ The Chief Cornerstone Church, Waianae, Hawaii

About the Author

I am a born-again Christian since 1984. My life since then has been primarily communicating to and reaching the lost. My main focus is on youth and senior citizens.

I graduated high school in 1963, and God told me to go to college in 1989 at forty-four years old. Four years later, I graduated Phi Beta Kappa with an associate degree in commercial art.

I live in beautiful Hawaii. My husband and I spend a great deal of our time with the Lord and each other. Our children (two daughters and one son, with our granddaughter and grandson and great-grandson) live on another island and in Los Angeles.

I believe that God has commissioned me to pen and illustrate this book.  I thank God, and I am honored that He trusts me with such a commission. I will, with His grace, complete this commission.
