Do It Afraid
Anybody having a battle with fear? Is there something you know the Lord has called you to do or something you know you need to do or would like to do but every time you try the fear stops you in your tracks? We all struggle with a spirit of fear at some time or another in our lives. I know in my own experience I have had to deal with that spirit many times until I heard something that really impacted my life and it is my desire beloved that this will help you as much as it has helped me.
One day I was listening to Joyce Meyer and she said "Why not do it afraid". If we wait until the fear is gone we may be waiting a long time. We may miss what God is calling us to or miss that opportunity that is poised and ready for you to take hold of . Instead of working on the fear, work on "doing it afraid". Doing it in spite of ,do it right along side of. You will find that the more you challenge the spirit of fear and go forth anyway, it will begin to lose its hold on you.
Remember Phillipians 4:13 in the Amplified bible says "I have strength for all things in Christ who empowers me (I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses inner strength into me; I am self sufficient in Christ's sufficiency.
In Isaiah 41:10 the Lord tells us "Fear thou not; for I am with thee; be not dismayed; for I am thy God; I will strengthen thee; yea I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."
So my brother, my sister as you go about your week just step out and find out and you will see Gods mighty power working in you both to will and to do of His own pleasure. Go ahead, do it afraid, the victory is yours!

About the Book
What started out as a weekly blog on Ami Rushes’ website and Facebook page has turned into a book designed to bring encouragement, comfort, and hope. Monday Manna: Spiritual Nuggets to Start Your Week is a weekly devotional designed to give people something to think about as they go about their week.
God has done so much in Rushes’ life, and she is thrilled to give back and share with others through ministry, music, and now Monday Manna. The biggest lesson she has learned through her journey is that God is bigger than we think. He is—even in those situations that are so dire and so bleak.
As with all her endeavors, Rushes will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sales of Monday Manna to Save Africa’s Children, an organization founded by Bishop Charles E. Blake that provides support to orphanages throughout sub-Saharan Africa.
About the Author
Ami Rushes’ life mission has been to reach God’s people and offer hope, inspiration, and support through song, ministry, and philanthropic efforts.
She is the recipient of the Albertina Walker Award of Excellence, and the Rhythm of Gospel Award for Best Music Video. In addition, she received the certificate of Congressional Recognition of the Women’s Division of the Gospel Music Workshop of America.
