"What is this, Mary Theresa?" Michael asked, as she led him through the tiny opening into the flowered cubicle of her secret world. ..."Oh, Michael! The Star!" She drew him down to the porthole and pointed to the shaft of radiance decending from their abode to the earth below. Michael, catching her excitement, crouched down over the window. "Mary, you have found the Star the Holy Father said He wuld create in the Heavens a a sign. The stable must be almost below us," he whispered. ...."It would be wonderful to see the little Christ Child wouldn't it, Mary Theresa?" "Oh, yes, Michael," and she reached out and patted Michael with an over zealous fondness that sent him crashing into the window. The porthole gave way. Then the two angels and their friends begin a journey that leads them to the stable.

About the Book
This is the story of two young angels who enjoy watching the Heavenly Father’s world of mankind through a heavenly porthole. Then an opportunity makes it possible for them to enter that world below. And they become part of the angelic visitation at the manger of the Christ Child.
Mary Theresa’s Secret World is the first book published by author Alta Wolf. She began the book in 1975 and shared it with friends. It was put away, but it was not forgotten. In November of 2011 Alta was rearranging her office and came across the manuscript. She was impressed to type it into her computer and finally share it with those who love the ancient Christmas story.
Mary and Michael came to life for Alta when she was writing the story and they continue to be part of her family’s Christmas story.
About the Author
Alta lives in Decatur, Nebraska and is married to Dale Wolf. The couple has two grown children. The Wolf’s have several grandchildren and a great granddaughter. She has written the Decatur news off and on for years for the Burt County Plaindealer in Tekamah, Nebraska and presently is one of the paper’s vendors. In addition to the news she also authors a weekly column titled “News from the Wolf’s Den” for the paper.
She has written numerous plays and readings for church worships, and had worship materials published by the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Alta is also civic minded and has served on the Village Board and School Board. She was ordained to the ministry of the RLDS Church in 1990 and has been Christ centered her entire life. Her husband Dale is an ordained Evangelist for the church.
