She felt as light as a feather, and she closed her eyes to breath in the sweet scent of her beloved, but when she opened them, gasped in horror. Her white dress, which had once been laced with jewels, was now as black as soot. She choked back the tears, realizing she was no longer worthy to be in His presence. She looked to her beloved, and He reached for her hand in reassurance that He wanted her in His life before she wanted Him in hers. He laced His hands in hers, and as He did, in an instant the blackness fell from her like a puff of smoke. Light broke forth, and she was glowing.

Seventeen-year-old Sarah Johnson is a teenage girl looking for love and the classic fairy tale, Cinderella ending. Once she thinks she has found it, her world, hopes, and dreams are shattered until she realizes that the love she was searching for has been pursuing her the entire time.
About the Author
Danielle M Miller is a twenty-four-year-old who was born and raised in a rural area outside of Montevideo, Minnesota.
In May of 2013, she married the love of her life, Emerson Miller. They currently live on the family farm where she is a stay-at-home wife and mother, taking care of her seven-month old son, Elijah, while waiting for the arrival of their second child in June of 2015.
