There can always be hope in our lives, because of Jesus. This is the "HIGHER" hope of which I speak, and exactly the hope that I always want for my life! The other word "hope" is what I call, hope with a little "h". It was one person's hope...my hope, his hope, her hope; but it wasn't lasting in times of trial and suffering. And, it was not the solid rock of hope that God offers us!!
We can hold tightly to that hope forever, in every circumstance we will ever find ourselves in!
My book includes personal memoirs, and poetry, but the main focus is inspirational stories to encourage other people, and especially spiritual advice and help from my own journey to personally meet and know Jesus Christ. I also write to speak about the wisdom of God's timing in our lives, and how we can trust him.

Hope is a feeling of expectation and desire that good things will happen. To hope is to carry those feelings with confidence.
Higher Hope is a testament to the author's search for that word, hope, in her personal life—a lifelong struggle. The “light bulb moment” came for her when she knew it had to be what she called Higher Hope—the solid rock of hope that only God can provide us! About the Author

The other hope was one person's hope, but it wasn't real or lasting in times of trial and suffering. And it was not the solid rock of hope that God offers us. That hope that we can hold on to forever, in all circumstances.
I live on a farm with my husband, Darrel, in Alberta, Canada. I will be sixty years old next year, and I have two grown children, a son and a daughter. I am expecting my first grandchild in a couple of months. I love to sing, write, and swim, and I have worked with Alzheimer’s patients. I am a big sister for the Big Brothers and Sisters organization, as well as a soldier in the Salvation Army.
