Letters From Heaven

Today it rained letters from Heaven

And they all fell before me,

Thousands upon thousands of letters,

From a through z.

I thought, oh my goodness, so many alphabets

When I heard, my God say,

“There is something very important

That I have chosen you to relay.

My daughter, use these alphabets to form

Sentences, with nouns, adjectives and verbs,

Recording the knowledge of My Truths,

And realities, My Rhema Words. “

I wondered why I was the only one, who could see,

All these letters falling from the sky before me.

At first, it seemed strange, yet I was compelled to fulfill,

And privileged that Almighty God

Called upon me, to accomplish His will.

Therefore, I gathered the ABC's, picking them up

A few hundred at a time

And used them to write to the world, this book

Of God’s Rhema Words in rhyme.

For the “unbeliever” it emphasizes

God’s desire to save your soul -

The reason for the sacrifice of Christ.

But, for the “believer”, it expounds on

Various matters concerning the spiritual life.

Above all, it radiates God’s love

And the Truth of His Gospel.

And as you read on, you will witness through me

That with God, all things are possible.

In the pages ahead, you will find at least one,

But no doubt a few,

Rhema Words from God, written especially for you.

You will know that it is God’s Truths,

As it will cut to your heart and penetrate your mind too.

Therefore, when you read the messages do not get ticked.

However, if it you are guilty, it will certainly convict.

Its intent, is not for condemnation,

But for evangelism, knowledge and exhortation.

To the “unbeliever” it may seem unreal, even a bit odd,

But the “believer” will truly know that each

Of these alphabets are anointed by God.

I thank God and I praise Him for this wonderful gift.

And remember, it is God, and not I,

Who is awesome and magnificent!

“Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live;

and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even

the sure mercies of David.”

Isaiah 55:3 KJV

Devalue Me

“I sacrificed my life on an old rugged cross

To save My Father’s creatures who are lost.

And they devalued Me.

I am God, and I became human.

I endured excruciating pain and strife

So that all may eat of the “Tree of Life.”

After all was said,

I was tortured, died then arose from the dead

And today, you devalue Me.

It is only by the shedding of My Sacred Blood

That your sins can be washed and forgiven of.

Yet still, you devalue Me.

A high price has been paid,

For Me to come to your aid.

How could you devalue Me?

Not only has My love for you, been tried and is true,

But I knew your devastating end, had I’d devalued you.”

Jesus On Your Side

With Jesus on your side, there is no way you can lose.

So hold your head up high and shake off those blues.

Do you know who is battling over your life?

And they are not using manmade weapons, like a knife.

You are under a spiritual attack!

Put on the whole armor of God and take your joys back.

God has provided all you need to fight the spiritual war.

So why be continually defeated, wasting all that He died for.

“Man-up” and stop being coy, act on your authority,

Then, enjoy your joys!

God has told us to rely on Him,

And to be strong in the Lord

And in the power of His might.

Duh…! Jesus has already fought the battle and won the fight.

There is no need to be sad; you have so much to live for.

With Jesus On Your Side, you have pleasures forevermore!

Easy Believing

It is easy to believe that Christ died for my sins.

But does believing keep me from disobeying

God over and over again?

The devils believe and they tremble and fret!

They know that their day of doom has been set.

So, just because I believe,

Does it actually mean that I am saved?

When I have no love for, or commitment to God,

Except maybe on Sundays.

I bare no fruit that no one can see,

I know it is because I still obey the enemy.

I have no evidence of being “born again”.

I guess I must be an “ain’t”,

Because I’m sure not living the life

Of a genuinely converted saint.

I am living my life in the opposite direction.

All this time I have been cloaked in deception,

I

got it all twisted and I am only kidding myself.

Today I have examined my faith and the life that I live.

Oh yes, I am convicted!

There is absolutely no godliness in my day-to-day living.

Yet, I do believe in God and His Son

Nevertheless, believing is just not enough.

Each time I think about submitting my life to God

I allow satan to convince me that it would be tough.

However, it is time I be a “doer” of God’s Word

And not only hear it.

Then I will know for sure I am a child of God

Because I am being led by His Holy Spirit.

I do want to be an vessel of God,

Broken bread and poured out wine.

Yet, day after day, I am wasting precious time.

I must repent of my sin, study God’s Word,

And with diligence, renew my mind.

Only then will God strengthen me to leave

This life of iniquity behind.

If Jesus Christ should return right now, today,

Eternal life in heaven, I would not receive

Simply because I did nothing more

With His Salvation, than to believe!
