"But papa, why would God want us to have such a horrible noise; He just doesn't fit--he's so big and his voice--scares everybody." Papa Songbird said, "Now, now, Mama, you'll see, God has a plan. We just have to wait until God is ready to show us." Mama bird was sitting in the tree, thinking about what God's plan could be. She loved her baby as much as she loved her other children, but he was so different. He was so big, and sometimes he could be a darn right bully to his sisters. Of course his sisters weren't very nice either--they made fun of his singing.

About the Book
This book is for children age five to nine. It is a fun way to teach children about good and bad things that happen in their lives and that God has a plan for our lives.
About the Author
Irita Barnard is a native of Missouri. She and her husband have a home and vineyard east of Lebanon, Missouri. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management/Engineering Administration from Park University of Parkville, Missouri.
In 2007, she retired from the Department of the Army with thirty-five years’ service, where she worked in facilities management. After retirement, Irita has dedicated much of her time to the church, teaching young people, publishing the church bulletin and church newsletter.
Joan Ozment is a professional illustrator. She worked for the Department of the Army for twenty-five years as a graphic artist. She works in watercolor, oil, and acrylics. Her work includes landscapes, flowers, animals, and some portraits. Creating situation cartoons is her favorite thing, along with illustration. Joan's work can often be seen in local art shows in Bradenton, Florida, where she and her husband now reside.
